After nearly a decade and a half, the babies are finally back!  
The news was just announced recently so I'm spreading the word~ I know a lot of my friends on here are old fans of the show, so they'll be just as excited as me (if not even more so ) to hear that they'll be returning as well. We don't have much info on it yet but the good news is that the show’s original creators Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo and Paul Germain are going to be the heads in charge of the production, so hopefully the reboot is going to have the same soul as the original~ 
It's going to have 26 episodes and prolly air in 2019. 26 episodes is the same number as seasons 2 and 3 i think? And those were among the best episodes until Kimi came to play with the rest of the gang in... season 7 i think! But this new reboot will prolly not have Kimi or Dil...  But that's OK! You should still expect to see Susie along with the original gang- i guess the series creators want to go back to their roots, (I see it still being set in the 90's for da nostalgic feelz) and that's fine with me; this has been a long time coming and I don't want them getting discouraged with the new project. I'm looking forward to see if they still got it after all these years~!    

Okay so we've covered the good news, now on to the bad. Looks like the 2019(?) reboot is going to be followed by a brand new movie in 2020. "Well," you might say, "That should be good news right? A 4th Rugrats movie? Awesome!" But you don't know the whole story yet. Turns out it's going to be a live action movie, but with CGI characters... (XmX) meh hopes meh dreams... (x_x)
Think how well those Smurf and Garfield movies turned out.. YEP it's going to be something like that folks! Sorry, but given the history of these kind of films, this don't look promising. I don't think the original creators are going to be working on the movie either, the writing is being handed over to some other guy, David Goodman, who is said to have worked on things like Futurama, Star Trek, Family Guy and American Dad. So if you liked some of the episodes of those shows he worked on, maybe not all hope is lost. I will retain my hope for the future, there's very little info out there so far, so this is really all up the air at this point. Keep yo fingers crossed peeps~

Looking directly at the sun during the PARTIAL eclipse is VERY unsafe! 
The only kind of eclipse that is safe to look at with the naked eye is the “Total Eclipse” which only appears briefly during the “Totality” phase. This only lasts for about 2 minutes and not everyone in the United States will be able to see it.  So it's worth noting unless you are in a specific area of the US, you probably shouldn't let your curiosity get the better of you by even taking just a quick peek as you could seriously damage your eyes!  You see the Partial Eclipse kind of turns the Sun into a 'partial laser' if you will, like a magnifying glass that concentrates all the Sun's light into one focal point. Of course it's actually weaker than that as it can't catch anything on fire but unlike normally the Sun's light during the partial eclipse could possibly permanently burn your retina!  That's the bulky and major part of your eye muscles that allows all optic stuff in front of it (the pupil, the iris, the lens and cornea) to do their jobs. It's made of the cells responsible for absorbing light so the rest of the eye can let you see with it. But as I've said the light during a partial eclipse is magnified in way that our retina was not designed to handle so it can be damaged. Now the scawy thing about this is any permanent damage you receive to retina may not show up for several years to come, so you make think you are fine, that you got away with peeking at a partial eclipse unprotected, but you may in fact have damaged your eye beyond repair as glasses can never help the retina cells that were burned gather more light again. Glasses only help the front parts of the eye I mentioned earlier. Only specialty type glasses will let you view a partial eclipse- don't fool your self into thinking you can get by on just regular sunglasses, or by wearing 2 or 3 glasses at a time, or by use of some homemade thing or some kind of other trick with something else. These are your eyes we are talking about, and an artist needs their eyes! 

ALSO I'd like to take this Journal here as an opportunity to thank you all for your lovely birthday wishes last year~  I know I never responded to any of the comments from last year, and although I have the excuse of my current lifestyle circumstances preventing me from temporarily uploading or being very active, it was still very rude of me and so I'm sowwy  I'll be ready for my birthday this year so thankies y'all~

Figured I'd update my journal, since it's been a while since I've been able to get on here... let y'all know I'm still alive and kickin', and that I havent forgot about any of you... cuz i haven't! I WUV DeviantArt! And all the wonderful artists here! 

You ALL continue to inspire me after all these years- to anyone in my faved folders, or my favs in general, or anyone I've commented too, I hope to someday be an equal to you!   I've kept up on my art while I've been "away" so... uh, look forward to lots more from me when I get "back" he he he~

And to anyone who used to follow me back in the day, or still does, you know that I haven't been very active for a long, looong while. And we-eeell, that's becuz I've been traveling on a bumpy road through out my life for the past 3 years or so. Not of my own choice of course, I'd rather be able to be given the chance to relax in my own nursery/house again for once ha ha~ Things have been rough for me, yes, but I'm still alive and healthy- and that's more than some can say for themselves!  Why should I have the right to complain?   So in this most merry & festive season, let us all take a small moment to give thanks to our own good fortune, and bless those who were born less fortunate than us shall we?    

OH! About the title to this Journal entry here, I had JUST enough letter count to type down that wittty little title. Cool, huh?  (well I thought it was pretty witty myself lolz)    

I know it's been a very long while since I wrote a journal here, it's not that nothing is going on for me, it's just life has thrown some very nasty curve balls my way, and it's the main reason I haven't uploaded anything new in 2 years. More on that at another time, this journal aint about me, I'm worried for friends!

Maybe Polly and Soap never considered me a friend, like a real good friend at least, but to me, all my fellow AB/DL artists on here are my comrades in arms! we have to stick together, right guys/gals?
